Out and About in Vintage

I really had to wear that vintage knit top I bought on etsy some months ago before the summer is over. Since it’s from the 1980s I combined it with some mom-jeans and a vintage leather bag. I’m really into the 80s but I don’t have many clothes from that time period. But I’m working on it 😉

On etsy you can find so many wonderful pieces from the 80s and 90s! It’s so much fun combining them with clothes from today.

It also seems like the 80s are making their way back into fashion! I’ve seen several stirrup pants in different shops lately and I’m going to get a pair 🙂

I hope you like my photos and thanks so much for visiting my blog!

xx Isa

Ready for Fall Outfit (Zara, Alice+Olivia)

fall_outfit_01

Hi there!

Since the last outfit was very colorful, I tried something more subtle and appropriate for the coming fall.

I’m wearing two pieces of Zara‘s current TRF collection: The Houndstooth Coat and the Plumetis Top. Both items are absolutely perfect for fall. The top looks lovely but is of very delicate material, after the first wearing a part of the sleeve was already torn off… The coat is very comfortable, with an elegant and classic touch.

One of my favorite pieces of clothing this year are the high-waisted shorts by Alice + Olivia. I bought the shorts for summer but it was way too hot for tweed… However, with some warm tights it a perfect deal for fall 🙂

I had to add the Vampire Wristlet by Sleepyville Critters, it’s so adorable. And before you even ask, the little bat’s name is Carlos. 🙂 He deserves a name, I think.

Here are more pictures of the outfit:

Under the Pink Horizon Outfit (Free People, Sister Jane)

Dear readers,

I’m very sorry for not posting anything the last months. I have a full-time job now (I really mean full-time!), I’m on the move 12 hours a day… There is just no time for anything but sleeping and eating in my life. So most of the time I’m just too tired for posting, I’m sure that sounds familiar to some of you.

However, I’ll try to start posting again because I hate spending my days doing nothing creative…

Because of all that dull, normal stuff I have to deal with everyday I just had to create a crazy and colorful outfit.

I bought the wig I’m wearing in the photos some months ago and had no time using it for ages… It’s my first wig, thank god, it wasn’t as uncomfortable as I thought.

With that pink Moschino earrings and the wig I felt just like a hippie fairy xD No way leaving my black binky choker and face jewels out.

Talking about favorite items, I used the new mascara top coat by Chanel. I’ve bought it because I love the blue sparkling effect and it really is gorgeous! I made the experience that those colored top coats and mascaras don’t work, you don’t see much color on my lashes. The top coat by Chanel is an exception, it really looks blue and sparkly. I’m so glad because it was very expensive 😉

I hope you like the outfit, thanks so much for visiting my blog! I cannot believe that there is still traffic on this page assuming there weren’t any news the last months. Thanks so much for still checking on my blog. You are great!

Have a wonderful monday ❤

Be Yourself Outfit (Iron Fist x So So Happy)

be_yourself_02Hello again!

I’m so sad because I have so less time for the blog at the moment… Thanks so much for your patience 🙂

Here is a new fun outfit! I need to wear crazy stuff at weekends it’s  a real recovery from stressful work. Do you know what I mean?

I’m very much in love with the collection from Iron Fist x So So Happy, I mean a pink sweater with taco print on the back, how great is that?! Also, the  Love Face Jewels by Wicked Hippie are so much fun, I really have to buy another pack.

You know what, always wear the clothes you are comfortable with no matter what other people think or say! If you have a bad day, wear your favorite shirt or necklace or whatever. It can be a huge comfort when you are down 🙂

What do you think of my new background? Crazy isn’t it, just trying something new.

Thank so much for stopping by! I wish you a wonderful day,

xx Isa

Sweet Easter Outfit (Monki, Minkpink)

ostern_02

Dear readers,

I’m so sorry for posting my easter outfit some days too late… But I hope you had a nice weekend and/or public holiday 🙂

I wanted to create a cheerful, spring/summer inspired outfit. Monki’s Tina Top is simply perfect because of it’s gay color and fluffiness. I wore it over the I Am The Resurrection Playsuit by Minkpink, which is an absolute must-have for summer! Don’t you just love those polka dots?!

Since it’s still a little cold were I live I wore the playsuit with some plain black tights. The Lilly Slip Ons by Monki are great because you can wear them with nearly everything, plus their print is really cool. All in all, a perfect outfit for a spring day 🙂

What’s your favorite spring/easter outfit? Do you like the combination of my outfit?

Thank for your interest and have a nice and sunny day! 🙂

xx Isa

Grumpy and Cosy Outfit (Dimepiece LA, H&M x Alexander Wang)

Wang_Isa_05

Hello again!

I tried something new 🙂 This time I wanted to tell a little story or at least use some more props and not only combine an outfit like I usually do.

I bought a lamp that is used in a photographic studio. In a studio they have more than one lamp, of course but I don’t have the space and I only want to try it out.

After some attempts it worked out well, please, keep in mind that this is a beginner’s work. I’m satisfied with the photos, I can see that I’m making progress of course, it’s not perfect. No one is born a master, right?!

Anyhow, this was a fun photo shoot, I tried to pose a little grumpy but most of the time I only look sad 😀 The clothes I’m wearing are sporty and comfy, most of all the Hoody by Dimepiece LA. I’m happy I had the chance to get my hands on a piece by that label, I’ve followed Dimepiece LA for quite some time.

I hope you like my photos, please feel free to ask any questions 🙂 And critique is always welcome 🙂

Have a wonderful day,

xx Isa

Yellow, Brown and White Outfit (Zara, Mavi Jeans)

Y_B_01

Hello :),

I tried to combine an outfit with many yellow and brown tons. The photos should look a little retro/60s like. I really like that color combination.

It is very cold here at the moment, anyhow, these photos were taken on a nice and rather warm day. There was even sun! A chance to wear my Quay sunnies another time and my Mavi jeans.

Do you like my outfit?

Here are some more pictures 😉

New Year’s Outfit 2015 (ASOS, American Apparel)

silvester_08

Dear Readers,

it’s already the 4th of January 2015 but I’m wishing you a great New Year anyway!

This post features my New Year’s Outfit, which is a little crazy but why not, right? Actually, I really like it 🙂 I’m wearing a Wildfox item for the first time, their ‘It was only a Dream’ Hooded Jacket is so soft, it’s really a dream. At the moment I would love to buy some more Wildfox, it reminds me of Los Angeles (it is a LA based brand after all) and holidays by the sea.

Oh and the Fuzzy Cropped Tee by American Apparel is also very soft and comfortable, a great piece. The only downside is: it’s a crop top and not so suited for european winters. You can wear a longer top underneath of course 😉

I’ve celebrated New Year’s with some friends, it was really nice I haven’t seen some of them for many years… Man, time flies. Christmas and New Year’s Eve always make me melancholy…

I want to thank you all for your support, feedback and comments and hope you’ll enjoy my blog even more this year! I will try to improve it and make it a more interesting place for you readers. As a reminder, critique, feedback and suggestions on how to improve this site are always welcome and appreciated.

Thanks also to all my followers on Instagram, Bloglovin’, Twitter and Facebook! You rule, thanks so much for the interest and support! ❤

Let’s have a great 2015!

xx Isa

Christmas 2014 Outfit (J.Crew, Blutsgeschwister)

Xmas_01

Hello my dear readers,

I wish you a (nearly too late) Merry Christmas! I’ve been very busy visiting family, giving gifts, eating chocolate and feeling bad about it the last two days.  But today I want to show you what my Christmas Outfit looked like this year.

It was really hard to make the photos, so many different lights, the mirroring of the glass door, some of my family members running through the pictures and me making photos of myself and feeling pretty stupid at the same time. My family is a little old fashioned, they see no sense in making photos of outfits and blogging about fashion. Actually, most of them think the internet is bad and nothing should be shared with strangers via the internet. I can completely understand that one has to be careful what to post but there are some benefits as well. You can meet many people from all around the world, share and write about what you love and find people who feel the same.

It’s a great way to be creative and learn things you haven’t known about, I really like blogging about fashion that’s just what I wanted to say 🙂

Let’s get back to the photos, I haven’t had much time and nearly no experience with indoor photography. Please don’t hate me people, I’m really trying my best here.

I actually like loud and funny outfits but on Christmas I’ve to dress more conservative for my family, which is not bad but I like to joke about it. So, I told my aunt I was trying to dress prude, of course she acted a little offended. 🙂

I like the Steady Friend Cardy by Blutsgeschwister the most, it is from their last Christmas Collection. You won’t believe how hard I have to search for pumps… I have super slim feet, not even italian designer shoes fit, so I bought some cheap but lovely pumps by Pimkie. It kinda worked, I was nearly blown away by the wind and needed hours for a walk but I made it alive 😀

I hope you like the pictures and the outfit, it’s a little cheesy with all the lights and everything but hey, it’s Christmas!

Have a great day everyone!

xx Isa
