Ready for Fall Outfit (Zara, Alice+Olivia)

fall_outfit_01

Hi there!

Since the last outfit was very colorful, I tried something more subtle and appropriate for the coming fall.

I’m wearing two pieces of Zara‘s current TRF collection: The Houndstooth Coat and the Plumetis Top. Both items are absolutely perfect for fall. The top looks lovely but is of very delicate material, after the first wearing a part of the sleeve was already torn off… The coat is very comfortable, with an elegant and classic touch.

One of my favorite pieces of clothing this year are the high-waisted shorts by Alice + Olivia. I bought the shorts for summer but it was way too hot for tweed… However, with some warm tights it a perfect deal for fall 🙂

I had to add the Vampire Wristlet by Sleepyville Critters, it’s so adorable. And before you even ask, the little bat’s name is Carlos. 🙂 He deserves a name, I think.

Here are more pictures of the outfit:

Lucy in the Sky with Fake Diamonds Outfit (Sister Jane)

fake_diamonds_04

Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she’s gone

‘Lucy in the sky with diamonds’, The Beatles

Hello everybody!

I’m so sorry for posting that rarely at the moment… I’m terribly busy and that affects my blog time… I hope you will understand and let me tell you that I’m really trying to find time for blogging these days.

Nevertheless, here is my latest outfit!

It’s inspired by the song ‘Lucy in the sky with diamonds’ by The Beatles. It’s a fun look and it was fun to take the photos. My favorite item is the Scattered Light Skirt by Sister Jane, it was also a big inspiration for the outfit. The skirt has little stars and glitter on it, I immediately fell in love with it, it’s absolutely stunning!

I hope you like the outfit, too.

I’m very sorry if I haven’t answered you comments or it took some time, be assured I read them and I love you all for your support ❤ Thanks so much!

Have a wonderful week,

xx Isa

My First Festival Outfit (Free People, One Teaspoon)

festival_04

Hello everyone!

We just had the first really warm days this year, the perfect time to try out my first festival style outfit.

I love so many items from this outfit 🙂

I have been admiring the jewelry by Vanessa Mooney for some time now but I never had the money or a ‘real’ reason to buy anything by the brand. Plus, it is rather hard to get pieces from a Vanessa Mooney collection where I live. But I recently spotted a beautiful necklace, a combination of a rosary and a bolo tie at ASOS. I was searching for a bolo tie that I liked for a long time and this necklace is perfect. The other reason why I bought it is that the name of the necklace is The Chantal Rosary Necklace, since my middle name is Chantal it was sign for me to buy it 🙂

Furthermore, I’m a huge fan of the australian brand One Teaspoon and I’m the proud owner of this harem style pant. It’s really comfortable and perfect for summer.

Another great item is the Ria Medieval Sword Buckle Belt by Black & Brown London, it has a little dagger attached to the belt and a medieval design. I really love this belt and have to create another outfit with it. Also, the Breakfast Club Sunglasses by Quay are really recommendable, they are my favorite sunglasses at the moment. Just a little hint, they look great with a basic top and a tight jeans 😉

I’m wearing a fake septum on the pictures, it is not at all uncomfortable. After a time I didn’t even notice it anymore… My mother hates the septum, she is a little old-fashioned (but you should see what she was wearing in the 60s and 70s…). She also hates the destroyed jeans by One Teaspoon…

Okay, I hope you like the outfit 🙂 Also, I want to thank my wonderful Bloglovin’ followers! I’m pretty sure my blog will hit the 200 this year! 😀

My Instagram account on the other hand is not going so well… Followers are so appreciated! I just don’t seem to get the hang of Instagram XD

Thanks so much everybody!

xx Isa

This Year’s Spring is Pink Outfit (AX Paris, YRU)

pink_03

The weather is nice, so it’s time for a pink jumpsuit! Since I’ve written a post about jumpsuits a while ago, it was time to take some photos with this nice jumpsuit by AX Paris.

I really love the combination of pink and black, like here with a black belt and choker. Also the golden Xena shoes by YRU look good with pink.

Pink is so my spring and summer color this year.

By the way the black smoothie in the pictures was by true fruits and very delicious :9

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you like my new outfit. Tell me what is your favorite color this spring and summer? 🙂

Have great and sunny day!

xx Isa

Going ‘Miley’!

Isa_Miley_06

I wasn’t feeling well last week, nothing serious but I was in a bad mood and felt ill. So I decided to make a fun photo-shooting and build an outfit around my ‘Miley Sweater‘ by Ratchet Clothing. I love this sweater, it’s colorful, crazy and the drawings of Miley are really cool!

I used this Faux Hair Fishtail Braid by Claire’s that I bought in Berlin. Miley is always running around with stuff like that in her hair, so it fits the outfit.

It was really fun doing all those stupid, overacted poses and expressions, sometimes you just have to be childish 🙂

I hope the weather stays that good, so I can do some more shootings outside.

Sorry, I’ve been to London the last days and though it was really great, I’m terribly tired, so I won’t write much.

Have a great weekend,

xx Isa

I know it’s not very professional to post cellphone photos but I actually liked the photos so what … I’m being unprofessional today.:)

Can you believe I found that skirt in my wardrobe and I never wore it before… Does that happen to you, too? I bought it some years ago in Los Angeles and it still fits (proud)! I think it’s a nice eye-catcher for a plain outfit.

I also love the idea to wear a big scarf as a cape, it looks elegant and adds to the outfit. The little vintage leather bag is from my mother, I found it in her closet, she didn’t even know about it and she always complains about having no bags. Actually, my mother loves borrowing my bags.

This outfit is a simple and not expensive alternative for fall 🙂

5 Must-Haves for fall ’14

picks_fall_musthaves_5

Do you already have everything you need for the fall months? I have listed five things that will keep you warm and cozy now that it’s getting colder outside. You cannot go wrong with chunky knits, fluffy and oversized pieces this season.

Who wants to get out of bed when it’s dark and cold outside. Well, at least you can feel warm and comfortable in soft and oversized cardigans or hooded jackets like the Alpaca Hoodie Jacket by Mango. Be comfortable, warm and trendy at the same time!

Yes, it’s the time of year again! Fish your beanies out of the closets, this year it’s all about the pom. Get them in your favorite color and keep your ears warm. Here is a great one in lilac: the Chunky Hand Knit Beanie by Topshop.

Treat your sweaters like your cardigans, you have to think big this year. Don’t forget it has to be a turtleneck! I love theYou’re Getting Warmer’ Sweater by Nasty Gal, looks great with a denim and a fedora hat.

Capes are definitely a must-have this fall, they come in plain colors or tartan pattern like this Cape by New Look. Or simply drape yourself in your favorite oversized scarf, just be creative!

I’ve already written about fuzzy items some months ago. Here is another fluffy companion, the ‘Ever After Bag’ by Nasty Gal x Nila Anthony. After all, they have one great advantage: you can use your bag as a soft pillow for a little nap 😀

I hope you liked my post, tell us your favorite must-haves for fall! What trend do you love or hate?

Best wishes,

xx Isa
